The Mercer House

The Mercer house is a pole barn house. Pole barn homes have several advantages over traditional framed homes. Pole barn homes are easier to insulate and can be more efficient. The pole barn construction has fewer thermal breaks than traditional framing which can make them very energy efficient. Pole barn homes also don't have to rely on interior walls for support walls. This means it's a little easier to create an open concept floorplan. The Mercer house takes advantage of this and has a large, vaulted great room that is 24' x 40' This house has three bedrooms, two and a half baths. It's just over 2,500sqft of living space with a 600+sqft built-in garage. The house features a large great room with corner fireplace, kitchen with walk-in pantry and large laundry room.
